Tony Packo's at the Ball Park / Winterfest 2014 Artwork

Since June 2011, I've worked as a part-time employee for the Toledo-famous restaurant, Tony Packo's - first I was a food counter attendant, now I am a gift shop attendant.

Recently, I was commissioned by one of my higher-ups to create some artwork promoting the company's original characters during Toledo's 2014 Winter Fest event. I also managed to incorporate the Toledo Mud Hen and Walleye mascots, since a) The restaurant I work at is the Downtown location, right next door to Fifth-Third Field, and b) The Toledo Walleye are featured prominently throughout / are hosting Winter Fest.

The characters featured are, in order from the top: Dill the Pickle, Frank the Hot Dog, Pickles the Packo Dog, Nana the Bell Pepper and Baby Brittany the Tomato.

All the pieces featured above are currently on display next door to the company's downtown restaurant, right next door to the Mud Hens' stadium! (In the recently purchased-by-Packo's Swan Creek Candle Shop) They'll be on display until the end of January. :D

Here's what the installed work looks like on site:

This was a really great project, and I had lots of fun working on it!

Sketchbook - Character Silhouettes & Facial Shapes

I apologize for the poor quality of the photos - my scanner finally (after four long years) appears to not be working anymore, so I had to resort to photography.

Assorted facial shape / character shape studies! Heavily referenced from the works of various artists I admire.

"Queen's Heart" - Kane Sketches

An original character of mine who was in desperate need of a design revamp!

RWBY Fan Art

I told myself that this blog of mine wouldn't have any fan art of it...and yet here I am, sharing fan art. *throws hands in the air* I promise this won't be a regular thing and will try to keep the content as original as possible!

Confession time: I'm a huge huge fan of Monty Oum's RWBY. It caters to all of my interests - dynamic leading ladies, modern spins on classic fairy tales, and classic anime tropes. It also gives me an excuse to practice designing female characters that all don't look alike.
(...did I succeed?)

"RWBY - Revolution" can also be found on dA here!

Misc. Animation - Character Animation Basics

Assorted projects from my ANIM 504: Character Animation Basics course during my first quarter at SCAD. :D
